Dr Libby Garoni

Libby was born and bred in the Kiewa Valley, growing up on the family farm at Upper Gundowring. She went to the Mount Beauty Kindergarten, Kiewa Valley Consolidated School at Tangambalanga and then Wodonga High School.

She spent most of her spare time working with horses and on several occasions represented Wodonga Pony Club at State Level Dressage Competition.


Libby studied medicine at the University of Melbourne and graduated in 1992. Subsequent experience at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital was followed by a year at Wangaratta Base where she again worked in Paediatrics and obtained her Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Qualifications:
     •     Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery
     •     Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
     •     Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine
     •     Diploma of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

Libby's clinical interests include Women's Health, Paediatrics, Minor Surgery and Mental Health. She lives on the family farm with husband Jeff Robinson, their three daughters, three cats and several horses.
