The Falls Creek Medical Centre is staffed by Doctors from the Mount Beauty Medical Centre. During the Ski Season we provide a comprehensive medical service and the clinic is fully equipped for the initial management of trauma and medical emergencies, including fracture management and Xrays.
The Clinic is located on the Bogong High Plains Road just past the road entrance to the Resort and near the bottom of the Gully Chair Lift

To ensure patient, staff and public safety, the Coronavirus Pandemic has necessitated significant changes to our operations.
Medical consultations, in person or via telehealth, are by appointment only between 10am and 3.30pm. Call our receptionist on 03 5758 3238 to book. Please have your medicare and credit card details handy. We will prioritise urgent matters.

There is capacity for only one person/family unit in our waiting room at any one time. When arriving at the Medical Centre for your appointment you will find the door locked. Please either call reception or press the door buzzer to be let in. If the waiting room is at capacity there is a Public Shelter nearby at Gateway.
Coronavirus testing and Respiratory symptoms
In conjunction with Alpine Health and DHHS we are operating a respiratory assessment and testing service. Consulations and testing will be available on a daily basis, 7 days a week. Contact us by phone on 03 5758 3238.
If you have any symptoms suggesting of coronavirus - fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, sortness of breath, runny nose, loss of sense of smell or diarrhoea it is ESSENTIAL that you be tested and go into isolation pending test results.
Our on-call after hours service at Falls Creek will commence in the near future.
In the meantime, our doctors do provide a 24/7 on call service to the nearest Public Hospital Urgent Care Centre which is at Mount Beauty. Mount Beauty Hospital can be contacted on 03 5754 3500.

Visitors to Medical Centre Patients
Due to social distancing and space restrictions, visitors will not be routinely permitted. Exceptions can be made for children/minors and in circumstances where a support person is deemed essential. We also understand that injured people will need assistance when it's time to leave!
Falls Creek Medical Centre is a private practice therefore patients are expected to pay for their consultation on the day. Costs for consultation and treatment will vary, depending on the condition requiring treatment. Please contact us to discuss.
Telephoning Your Doctor:
Although most problems are best dealt with in consultation, a doctor will always be available during normal surgery hours for emergency advice. Our staff are experienced in helping you decide whether the matter requires appointment, a return phone call from the practice, or urgent advice.
Results and Recalls
The surgery will contact you if you need follow up of any results such as pathology or xray. If you would like to know the results of your test you will need to make an appointment with the doctor.
