Pat Ryder

Pat obtained her Certificate of Health Economics, Monash University in 1998 followed by her Diploma in Practice Management, University of New England in 2002. Pat gained her Fellowship of the Australian Association of Practice Managers, the “gold Level” of achievement in the Association in 2014.

Pat has been the runner up in the AAPM Victorian Practice Manager of the Year in 2013 and won the National Practice Management Award for Excellence in Chronic Disease Management in 2013.

Pat commenced work at the Mount Beauty Medical Centre in 1986 and has seen the practice grow from one location with 3 General Practitioners and 3 Receptionists to two locations (Mount Beauty Medical Centre and Falls Creek Medical Centre) with 7 GPs, 1 Medical Intern, 2 full time students, 10 receptionists, 4 nurses, 3 specialists and 5 allied health providers.

Pat has always been passionate about providing a good rural experience and has wholeheartedly supported medical students, registrars and interns at all stages of their training..

Pat has expertly guided the accreditation of both practices with General Practice Accreditation and we have sailed through seven accreditations (spanned over 15 years) with virtually no hiccups. She has also completed accreditation of both our practices with the HDAA as Radiology Service Providers.

Pat loves the outdoor life and spending time with her family and friends.
