Angela joined our team at Mt Beauty Medical Centre in 2012. Having grown up in Albury, then completing her medical training in Newcastle, Angela was keen to return to country life to raise her family. She now works as a contractor to Mount Beauty Medical Centre. Angela enjoys all areas of General Practice, especially Women’s Health, Emergency Medicine, Palliative Care and Preventative Medicine.

Angela is passionate about teaching and mentoring junior doctors who are training to become rural GPs.  Angela is an instructor and examiner with the Australia College of Rural and Remote Medicine. 

Angela loves living in Mt Beauty with her husband Richard and three children Daisy, Isobel and Arthur. The Stratton family are very active in the community and make the most of the outdoor lifestyle – swimming, snow sports, road and mountain bike riding. She enjoys tending to her garden and baking.
