 Matt trained as a Rural Generalist GP in Mount Beauty, and had a soft spot for the region, especially the high plains that keep him coming back every winter. He has a special interest in emergency care, mental health, mountain medicine and expeditions to remote areas. When not working he enjoys anything that gets the heart rate up - backcountry skiing, trail running, ocean swimming and high altitude trekking/climbing.
